Hey, happy Monday,<\/span><\/p>\n

This note will be short because it was written by carving out some time for a short vacation. <\/span><\/p>\n

A break to restore quality family time, slowing down a run that began on March 9, with no school but a new appliance in the house always on: the webcam for calls.<\/span><\/p>\n

I started writing these strategy notes in January (officially in December but it was the first launch). Since then, every week I download the 1,000-word buffer that I share with the whole community. <\/span><\/p>\n

25 weeks. 25,000 words. <\/span><\/p>\n

These are all true things. They are notes that I really need at work. <\/span><\/p>\n

And they are available here for everyone. Free of charge. But not because they are worth little, on the contrary, precisely because I believe the value is high it is good for them to be read by so many. <\/span><\/p>\n

Telemetry<\/strong><\/h2>\n

You probably noticed that at the bottom of each email I ask you to rate, from 1 to 10 on the quality of the content. <\/span><\/p>\n

I need it to measure the fact that I am going in the right direction. <\/span><\/p>\n

That of creating value in this network of professionals and entrepreneurs who are putting Customer Experience at the top of their priorities to build the next competitive advantage, and in doing so they must bridge the gap between Business, Design and Technology faster than their competitors.<\/span><\/p>\n

A kind of Net Promoter Score. Although the question being asked is not the official one, I use the same technique to calculate the impact of content. <\/span><\/p>\n

Only grades 9 and 10 count positively, the so-called <\/span>promoters<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

No votes 7 and 8 are counted, the <\/span>neutrals<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

All grades from 6 to 0, the <\/span>detractors<\/b>, count negatively.<\/span><\/p>\n

The calculation is then reported as a percentage.<\/span><\/p>\n

I realized that this score does not necessarily have to be a high number, not in general I mean but just in this specific case, because in order to measure the impact in the community not only the number of promoters but the number of reactions I receive are important, and that they are not necessarily positive.<\/span><\/p>\n

You will find at the bottom of this email that the list of the 10 Notes with the highest engagement rate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Learning along the way<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On January 27, in memo <\/span>No.3<\/span><\/a> I exordi:<\/span><\/p>\n

” […] the first month of this new decade is almost over.
\n<\/span>We expected that everything would be different,

Four weeks later I changed my mind.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nothing will be the same as before.<\/span><\/p>\n

These notes became the diary of a transformation.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As I prepared these lines I reread the Notes one by one and saw them adhere to a changing scenario.<\/span><\/p>\n

Like 25 smart missiles that aim straight at the heart of a widespread problem, that of making innovation, reducing costs and risks, and training new leaders that no school yet seems capable of preparing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Missiles that viewed from afar appear to go straight, but in truth, precisely because they can interpret reality, they travel in zigzags adjusting their trajectory as new data become available.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Behind the scenes<\/b><\/h2>\n

I write these lines on Sunday night, when everyone in the house is asleep. For me it is the best time to prepare for the new week. <\/span><\/p>\n
