Hey, happy Monday,
Before the week’s schedule gets messed up save this date.

Our next STRTGY Meeting

Tuesday, Feb. 18, 6:30 to 9 p.m.,
The Student Hotel, Florence

Put it on the agenda, I have refined the format, come and test it.

I’m trying to build our #strtgymeetings as the strategy meetings you never get to have in your company.

Even if they start out with the best of intentions usually in these meetings you end up criticizing what hasn’t been done, the boss tells you what needs to be done, and when it’s all over you go back to your desk with the feeling that the goal is even further away and motivation underfoot–who’s going to make me do it?

In #strgymeetings, on the other hand, one celebrates what has been done,
even if it is did not produce the desired results.
One illustrates the problem faced,
one depicts the strategy adopted,
one shows in detail the tactics used,
but most importantly one creates the conditions to enable the team
to amplify what worked
or propose new solutions.

What’s boiling in the pot

I don’t have confirmation of the guests yet, it’s Sunday as I write to you, but I heard from them on Friday and they are all happy to attend.

Perhaps the strategy of using Instagram filters to get into the offices that matter will be discussed.

Perhaps we will talk about B2B and how content strategy also works in boring industries.

Perhaps a particular advertising strategy on AdWords will be discussed.

Perhaps we will talk about Storytelling Design, and the process of generating a Copy Strategy.

What I know for sure is that everyone will leave you with the outline to enable you to adapt the same strategy to your business. Promise.

If you would like to give me feedback on these topics, or suggest one that is particularly close to your heart, please respond to this email now. I don’t want him to go home and empty-handed.

I will write to you later in the week to send you the link to which to register. Places are limited.

Do you want to organize a STRTGY Meeting in your city? Let’s talk about it, you have all my support!

I leave you with this week’s resources for working on our three Ps: People, Processes, Products.

Good work!
I will write to you soon.

Those who grow do three things differently: they separate current management from strategic exploration, they establish a weekly learning cycle that transforms evidence into action, and they reduce the complexity of metrics to three interconnected levels that describe product, impact, and profit.
