Andrea Scotti Calderini

Bio

Andrea Scotti Calderini is the co-founder and CEO of Freeda Media & Platform. His career began in the world of content and talent management, first in sports and then television.

Driven by a strong curiosity to discover “everything that goes on behind the scenes of television programs,” Andrea began working in agencies specializing in artistic management such as DManagement Group where he had the opportunity to collaborate with David Brown, manager of Naomi Campbell, Roberto Bolle, and Monica Bellucci, among others.

He then arrived at Fremantle Media where he initially worked with the CEO and general manager and later started the branded content department. His four years at Fremantle give him an in-depth understanding of the editorial soul of television programs and how brands can be part of it, through the development of innovative advertising projects.

In 2015, he joined the Mediaset and Publitalia group where he remained for just under 2 years, working closely with Stefano Sala, board member of Mediaset and CEO of Publitalia, helping him on the strategic side and dealing with the management of different branches of the concessionaire (innovation, special initiatives, content marketing activities) on the different media (radio, TV, press channels, digital channels).

At the end of 2016 he founded Freeda together with Gianluigi Casole, with the aim of changing the media landscape from the inside, revolutionizing the traditional paradigm related to the communication of the female universe and the new generations. In just a few years of activity Freeda raises +20M of funds from national and international investors, becoming one of the fastest growing start-ups in Italy.

Today Freeda has more than 9M fans and followers worldwide and is at the center of a strong internationalization process, opening offices in Spain and the UK.
