Saturday at 7 a.m. I get a notification on Slack in the private channel of a team that started implementing MAKE PROGRESS a few weeks ago. Health care sector, €4M+, 30+ employees.
The CEO is working on his strategy.

It is amazing the level of commitment and enthusiasm of people who decide to work on something that until yesterday has always been boring, complicated, and ineffective: Strategy.
They have my respect along with my total support.
I imagined him waking up early, making himself a cup of coffee, and devoting the best hours of the day-before the family woke up-to getting to work with an energy he hadn’t felt in a long time.
In fact, it is very common for leaders to find time to think outside office hours.
It often happens to me, too, that I go through the week all at once between calls and technical work to be done and leave the best activities, the ones that require quiet and creativity to do them well, to the weekend.
Because there is no point in hiding it, it is precisely in the moments when we feel calm and safe that the best ideas arise; like when you brush your teeth or take a shower.
One should design one’s time so that it can be Saturday even in the middle of the week–but perhaps I will talk about that in another note.
Those who do not know us may mistake STRTGY for a consulting firm, sometimes for a marketing agency. Maybe I need to make up my mind to review the posts on our site, because we are none of those things.
What we are creating at STRTGY is the most pragmatic working group ever to support corporate leadership.
My qualified coaches and I get into the trenches with them and pull them out of the quicksand of exhausting, directionless execution.
The first tangible result of working with us is that — finally — you create space and time to work on-the-business. Strategic work becomes the most energizing work of the day. The one no one wants to skip anymore.
In all sincerity…
If you could experience every day that powerful feeling of working on the future of your company, your project, your team–would you still call it work?
If this could happen in every area of your organization–what might be the results you could achieve?

I know this post might seem over the top.
I would think the same thing if I didn’t experience it firsthand.
So I thought I would invite you to the next Office Hour, to see for yourself the energy here!
What is Office Hour?
This is the session reserved only for qualified practitioners and clients who come together to share concrete experiences in implementing MAKE PROGRESS and the OKRs, to exchange advice, to receive support and to find inspiration through direct discussion with other leaders engaged in the same strategic transformation journey.
What is PASS and how it works
From time to time, we also decide to open the doors of Office Hour to a wider audience, offering everyone the chance to actively participate and access exclusive information that is hard to find elsewhere.
The PASS allows access to a single Office Hour session on the date of your choice. This is paid access, designed to ensure high-quality interactions and maximum attention to each participant.
Thursday, February 20, 2025, 12:00 p.m. (Replay available)

In this event you will meet Serena Sammarco Vittoriano and Lays Felix Do Carmo of Leroy Merlin who have transformed strategic management by continuing the adoption of MAKE PROGRESS® with OKRs.
You will learn how they have been able to activate an operational rhythm that makes information flow directly from the grassroots to the decision-making centers, allowing each team to adjust strategy in real time based on the results obtained.
We will talk about Drumbeat, the regular cadence of meetings and activities that made it possible to accurately execute the strategy on more than 150 stores across Italy. In this session exclusively open to the public you will hear directly about the experiences and solutions adopted, gaining practical insights to make your strategy agile and effective.
Why should you participate?
- If you are a C-Level, you will learn how to structure your organization for maximum agility and cohesion in execution.
- If you are a manager, you will discover how to evolve your role to have a greater impact on strategic outcomes.
In addition, you will see the importance of introducing new business roles, such as Strategy Ops-that is, Strategy-related Operations-a pioneering role that we are developing at STRTGY to facilitate the flow of information and alignment of strategic priorities.
We are writing the future of the Strategy,
wouldn’t it be a shame not to be part of it?
ALWAYS MAKE PROGRESS ⤴
