Hey, happy Monday!

Today’s Note is written on the road. It will be shorter than usual but certainly no less dense.

This week there are two important things for you as a member of this community.

  1. The next STRTGY Meeting, the tenth! JOIN
  2. A new episode of the Podcast of STRTGY! LISTEN

The next STRTGY Meeting, the tenth!

On this trip, I took only one book with me, that of Mauro Porcini SVP and Chief Design Officer of PepsiCo. It is entitled. “The Age of Excellence” and is published by Il Saggiatore.

Mauro will be a guest speaker at our tenth STRTGY Meeting. Have you requested the link to participate yet?

We will have a chance to meet him live. He will be connecting from New York to talk about the role of Designers, how they have become vitally important to any organization, large or small, that wants to exist in the marketplace.

A new episode of the Podcast of STRTGY

You may not know this, but before it was even a newsletter STRTGY was born with the idea of creating a podcast. An idea that stopped at two pilot episodes, because then came the first lockdown and life made it incredibly more complicated to find, at home, the space to record.

Today the situation is quieter and we have become used to the idea, as well as better equipped, to having a piece of the home office.

In addition, merit the fact that people slowly return to the office and spend more time outside the home even for sports, the opportunities to consume audio content have increased.

I hope you will be pleased to know that starting today, selected episodes will be released in audio format in our official podcast.

Let’s start with the fantastic Strategic Copywriting session that Francesco Morzaniga of NeN led during the last STRTGY Meeting.

It won’t be a constant appointment, so I recommend you follow it so you can get a notification whenever a new episode comes out.

To make listening more fun, I have hidden a spoiler of who will be the next as-yet-unannounced guest speaker at the July STRTGY Meeting.

Small clue: ☕️

Those who grow do three things differently: they separate current management from strategic exploration, they establish a weekly learning cycle that transforms evidence into action, and they reduce the complexity of metrics to three interconnected levels that describe product, impact, and profit.
