The work carried out together with Deloitte Private and Poli.Design rigorously analyzes the data of a sector, that of Design, which has 30 thousand companies in Italy and generated an added value of 2.5 billion euros in 2020 with 61 thousand employees.

An incredible army of superheroes called upon to accompany Italian companies to broaden their perspective from customers to communities, territories to the environment, with profound implications in business decisions: from the choice of materials, to the user experience, from the definition of business models, to the redefinition of supply chains.

The analysis reveals a significant and distinctive aspect of Italian design, a direct relationship with clients: the vast majority of respondents (86 percent) interact directly with entrepreneurs and top management. Therefore, it is time for designers to acquire managerial skills and learn how to connect business, design and technology.
